- Contractor:Newell Bore for casing turned up and lost 8' of grade over last 90'. CASCADE provided numbered spacers that when installed in sequence, brought the carrier back to grade. Spacers are also field adjustable.
- Casing insulators are used to support and electrically isolate a pipeline from a casing pipe through which it must pass and are used in river crossings, canal crossings and bridge crossings as well as highway and railroad crossings. We recommend installation of casing spacers every 6 to 8 feet.
- APS stainless steel band casing spacers are available in two models: the SSI8 model, which is 8” in width and recommended for carrier pipe 4” to 24”; and the SSI12 model, which is 12” in width and is recommended for pipe 26” to 120” and larger. Stainless steel band spacers are recommended for every 6 to 8 feet of pipeline.
Bundle pipe casing spacers. Multi-pipe casing spacers for larger pipe clusters. Casing Spacer steel frame bands with non-metallic wheel rollers around the clamp bands are available for placement arrangements of carrier pipes through a casing. Casing Spacer clamp band material is 304L stainless or galvanized steel. Carbon Steel and Stainless Steel Casing Spacers. Heavy duty two-piece #304 Stainless Steel or Carbon Steel Casing Spacers with durable glass filled polymer runners. Available in 8 inch and 12 inch widths. (8' width through 24' pipe recommended).
Black Widow casing spacers are a 2-piece band made from 304 or 316 stainless steel, or mild steel with bituminous, galvanized or epoxy coatings depending on specific job specifications. Each shell section shall have a flange formed with a minimum of 3/8” thick bolts for 8 in wide/12 in wide spacers.
Each band is lined with EPDM liner attached to the band. Runner surface is comprised of UHMW polymer for abrasion resistance and a low coefficient of friction. The runners and risers are attached at appropriate positions to properly support the carrier within the casing in order to ease installation.
8 Casing Spacers Rubber
All risers are MIG welded to the shell and can be reinforced if over 6in in height. The runners are attached mechanically with bolts. All welds and metal surfaces are passivated.
8 Casing Spacers Stainless Steel
All casing spacers come with equal legs, unless specified. We do all fabricating in house; therefore we control and provide quality craftsmanship. We can correct bore grades by adjusting each pipe support to the correct height to correct bore grade. We can design a pipe support to carry multiple carrier pipes through one encasement pipe.
